Sharad Co-founded Ataraxia Capital, is a member of its Board of Directors and Serves on the Investment Committee.

He is jointly responsible for leading the investment programme at Ataraxia as well as having overall co-executive responsibility for the firm.

Sharad is responsible for overseeing all investments and investment decisions across the markets in which Ataraxia operates. His focus in the last few years has been the expansion of Ataraxia into new markets with the opening and collaborations in Europe and beyond.
He serves on all investee company boards and maintains strong personal relationship with all stakeholders across the investment spectrum.

Prior to founding Ataraxia, Sharad trained and practiced as a corporate M&A lawyer in both Sydney & Abu Dhabi and has worked for firms including Linklaters, Allens Arthur Robinson & DLA Piper. He is has advised numerous governments including the Governments of Abu Dhabi & Timor Leste in setting and managing strategic investment vehicles across real estate, infrastructure and film finance.

He holds a Bachelor of Business and Juris Doctorate from the University of Technology Sydney.
